World Hajj & Umrah Convention 2013 – Brief Report
The World Hajj & Umrah Convention (WHUC) is a global gathering of decision makers, with its inaugural event held at the British Museum in 2012. The second annual convention held at the London Olympia focused on collaborative thinking between, Hajj and Umrah Associations, Hajj Missions, Tour Operators, Mosque leaders and all those involved in facilitating pilgrims. Mr. Rabah of Paris, a blind gentleman who had performed Hajj in 2012 shared with us his experience on a global platform, a moving tale that made the international community think beyond the amenities of the general public but also that of the disabled. A consensus was reached in establishing smaller focus groups on a regular basis to build on the momentum of the WHUC objectives. The platform shall serve as a global Hajj & Umrah logistical de-briefing session as well as a planning tool for the upcoming season’s needs.

  • Welcome to the 3rd Annual World Hajj & Umrah Convention

As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu

Welcome to the 3rd annual World Hajj and Umrah Convention being held in the beautiful city of Paris. Following the success of WHUC 2013 in London, hosting in excess of 250 international delegates from 20 countries, it gives us great pleasure to announce that the convention will be held in France on the 28th-29th of May at the CNIT Convention Centre, La Defense.

The theme of this year’s conference focuses on the greatest expansion and transformation in the history of Mecca and what our role is within it. With developments occurring in every aspect of Hajj, we look to see how we can be up to date and well prepared for the upcoming seasons endeavours ensuring that we continually succeed in enhancing the pilgrim’s experience.

The convention will host prominent national and international Hajj & Umrah service providers, Hajj Missions, skilled professional, institutional and government representatives as well as other leading figures. In collaboration with several new exciting partnerships, we have strived to excel on last year’s event to deliver an even more tailored event promoting, education, culture, commerce and social responsibility within the Hajj and Umrah Sector.

A global invitation is extended to you to join us for a valuable two days in Paris to be amongst the World’s leading Hajj & Umrah representatives and officials.
